User League

The User League of the Sicor Clinical and Research Center is dedicated to developing guidelines and strategies aimed at ensuring every interaction within the institution is a positive and satisfactory experience for patients. This involves identifying and implementing improvement actions across the institution, particularly in situations where patients express concerns about their rights being contravened.

This interdisciplinary team works tirelessly to offer high-quality services, timely and compassionate care, and dignified and respectful treatment.

Patient Rights and Responsibilities

Our commitment is to provide a service that meets the needs and expectations of patients, with human warmth and quality, respecting their rights and guiding them in fulfilling their duties.

Patient Rights.

Patients at Sicor have the right to:

  • – Access health services and technologies that guarantee comprehensive, timely, and high-quality care.
  • – Receive clear, appropriate, and sufficient information from healthcare professionals, enabling them to make free, conscious, and informed decisions regarding their procedures and associated risks.
  • – Refuse health treatment against their will.
  • – Receive dignified treatment, respecting their beliefs, customs, and personal opinions.
  • – Have their medical history treated confidentially and privately, with free access to its entirety.
  • – Receive quality assistance throughout the illness process from properly trained and authorized health workers.
  • – Access health services under conditions of hygiene, safety, and respect for privacy.
  • – Receive information about channels for filing complaints, grievances, suggestions, and communicating with the institution’s administration, as well as receive a response.
  • – Request and receive explanations or accountability regarding the costs of health treatments received.
  • – Not have administrative burdens transferred to them that should be borne by the service provider.
  • – Explore all treatment possibilities for overcoming their illness.

Patient Responsibilities

Patients at Sicor have the responsibility to:

  • – Promote their own self-care, as well as that of their family and community.
  • – Adhere to the recommendations provided in health promotion and prevention programs in a timely manner.
  • – Show respect towards the personnel responsible for providing and administering health services.
  • – Utilize the services and resources of the system appropriately and rationally.
  • – Provide timely and sufficient information required for the provision of services.
  • – Contribute to financing the expenses associated with healthcare.
  • – Take care of and return any assigned devices on the specified date and time.
  • – Attend appointments punctually and promptly communicate any cancellations.
